Arius Ziaee is an Animator, Illustrator and Musician currently based in Los Angeles, California. 

Combining their multidisciplinary practices they create a dynamic and varied body of work. Arius designs unique worlds filled with lumpy, gord-like creatures and characters. They build their visual aesthetic by exploring hand-drawn animation techniques, preferring the texture of traditional mediums and the happy accidents that occur. Using these methods, Arius combines various coloring processes and digital enhancements to create their signature style.

Studying Experimental Animation at CalArts, Arius refined their technical animation abilities and their student films have been shown in multiple international and domestic film festivals. For details about work featured in festivals click here.
